SPC automotive technology program receives new transmission from donors
LEVELLAND – Smith Auto Family and Ford Motor Company donated a transmission to South Plains College’s automotive technology program on Oct. 15 at the Levelland campus.
The new transmission will accompany a Ford F-150 truck previously donated to the program by Annette Sykora, dealer principal of Smith Auto Family. The company has had a long-standing relationship with the college and has supported the automotive program for many years.
“Investing in the education of our future workforce,” Sykora said regarding the reason for the continued support. “There’s no better feeling than investing in that.”
