SPC to redirect traffic on C.M. Sanders Drive beginning Feb. 15
LEVELLAND – South Plains College will redirect traffic on C.M. Sanders Drive beginning Feb. 15 to prepare for the renovations at the Science Building. A construction fence will be erected to prevent traffic for up to 17 months.
According to Ronnie Watkins, dean of Administrative Services at SPC, traffic will flow to the north to allow access to the parking lot in front of the Founders Room in the Student Services Building. The parking spaces immediately in front of the Science Building will be permanently removed.
“At this time, we have notified the police and ambulance service of the traffic change,” Watkins said. “We apologize for the inconvenience of the change of traffic flow across campus. We still have plenty of parking available at the Texan Dome and Track Field.”
Watkins said four ADA parking spaces have been designated in the North Sue Spencer Hall to replace the lost spaces.
