SPC, Texas Tech alumni associations to host tailgate on Sept. 14
LUBBOCK – The alumni associations of South Plains College and Texas Tech will host a tailgate before Tech’s football game against the University of North Texas on Sept. 14. The tailgate will begin at 8 a.m. at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion on the Tech campus and will remain open throughout the game.
SPC and Tech alumni are invited to celebrate the Dual Alumni Membership Program between the two institutions and get ready for the game with cheerleaders and Terrible Tex. All current program members and those who enroll at the door will receive admission into the Frazier for pregame festivities and a free drink ticket.
“I am excited to make memories with familiar faces and new dual alumni members. This tailgate is one of my favorite events of the year,” Catherine Krueger, SPC assistant director of development and alumni relations, said. “Even if you aren’t going to the game, you can still have fun and cheer on the Red Raiders from the comfort of the Frazier Alumni Pavilion.”
