SPC Student Government hosts suicide prevention program on Sept. 27
LEVELLAND – “100 Reasons Why Not” is a South Plains College Student Government Association (SGA) sponsored event. It will be presented at 6 p.m.. on Thursday (Sept. 27) in the Student Life Center.
The purpose of the event is to bring awareness to Suicide Prevention. SGA hosts the event to educate students and the community about available resources for mental health issues.
The SGA wants to offer students the opportunity to participate in activities that will improve their lives. SGA said every student needs to know that he or she is not alone. And, that even though struggles and hard times, there is someone at SPC that cares.
This is the second year SGA has hosted the event.
