SPC will host quilting orientation class on Sept. 1, 2020

 

LEVELLAND – South Plains College’s Division of Continuing and Distance Education will host an orientation class for all of its quilting courses at 5:30 p.m.. on Sept. 1 (Tuesday) in Room 121 of the Technical Arts building. Participants are required to wear masks. 

The instructor will be Vickey Vest.

Four different quilting classes will be offered this semester. The weekly classes will start the week of Sept. 14. The monthly classes will start the following week, Sept. 21. Classes begin at 5:30 p.m.. Classes will focus on working with a kit, a panel and paper piecing. One class will require participants to purchase a kit. Classes are available for beginners, intermediate and advanced quilters.
