SPC will host quilting orientation class on Jan. 13

 

LEVELLAND – South Plains College’s Division of Continuing and Distance Education will host an orientation class for all of its quilting courses at 5:30 p.m.. on Jan. 13 in Room 121 of the Technical Arts building. 

The instructor will be Vickey Vest. 

There will be two different quilting classes offered this semester. The Monday weekly class will start at 5:30 p.m.. and will focus on a butterfly log cabin quilt. The Tuesday weekly class will focus on color block solid quilts. Both classes will require participants to purchase kits. 

Additionally this semester, SPC will offer a day class. Class will be offered on Tuesday afternoons at 2:30 p.m.. This class will be preparing the same kit as the Tuesday evening class, Color Block Solid Quilt kit. The class will meet from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.. Each class costs $55. 

The start dates will be announced.
