SPC to crown Miss Caprock during 2024 Scholarship Pageant on Nov. 22

LEVELLAND – South Plains College will host the 66th annual Miss Caprock Scholarship Pageant at 7 p.m. on Nov. 22 in the Tom T. Hall Production Studio on the Levelland campus.

The pageant winner will receive a $750 SPC scholarship, and the runner-up will receive a $500 SPC scholarship. The event will feature seven contestants who were nominated to represent an academic department, student club or campus organization.

Alycyn Keeling, executive director of the Wallace Theater, will serve as the mistress of ceremonies.

Odemaris Chávez, 19, is a sophomore English major from Wellman. She is the daughter of Jesus and Norma Chávez. She represents Juntos Somos Más. 

Natalie De la Fuente, 18, is a freshman pre-engineering major from Plainview. She is the daughter of Crystal Rodriguez. She represents the STAR Center. 

Blanca Espinoza, 24, is a sophomore cosmetology major from Seminole. She is the daughter of Octavio and Araceli Espinoza. She represents the Cosmetology Department. 

Ariathna Lopez, 21, is a sophomore education major from Dimmitt. She is the daughter of Emigdio Lopez and Karla Medina. She represents Campus Ambassadors. 

Addison Medley, 18, is a sophomore social work major from Shallowater. She is the daughter of Billy and Heather Medley. She represents the Behavioral Science Department. 

Jaden Posadas, 19, is a freshman education major from Sundown. She is the daughter of Haime and Jaime Posadas. She represents SPC Cheerleading. 

Allyson Rodriguez, 19, is a sophomore Criminal Justice major from Lubbock. She is the daughter of Jessie Rodriguez and Nichol Villarreal. She represents the Criminal Justice Club.
