LEVELLAND – South Plains College will host its annual Kids College at 9 a.m. on May 5 (Friday) starting in the Texan Dome. 

More than 480 children from Morton Elementary School kindergarten class, Whiteface Elementary School kindergarten, Sundown Elementary School kindergarten class, Levelland ABC kindergarten classes, Smyer Elementary School kindergarten, Anton Independent School District kindergarten classes will visit the campus and participate in five activities in various departments on campus. 

The youngsters will eat sack lunches at 11:45 a.m. in the Student Center. 

Among the activities planned for the youths will be Weird Science Magic Show in the Chemistry Department, SPC Animal Zoo, Creative Arts Performance, a physical education exercise class and a visit by Terrible Tex, the SPC mascot.
