South Plains College students crown Homecoming King and Queen

 

LEVELLAND – South Plains College students selected Demarcus Sneed of Lakeland, Fla., and Kamryn Alvarez of  Earth as Homecoming King and Queen during halftime of the Texans/Western Texas College basketball game on Thursday (March 11) in the Texan Dome.

Sneed, a business major, represented the Sixth Man. Alvarez, a video and cinema major, represented the Catholic Student Ministry.

HomecomingThe nominees for Homecoming King were Pavel Voufo of the Cameroon, STAR Center Student Organization; Ripley Youngblood of Lubbock, Wesley Foundation; Matthew Marin of Brownfield, Baptist Student Ministry; Jonathan Rangel of Littlefield, Catholic Student Ministry; Sahel Azzam of Jordan, Campus Ambassadors; and Dylan Keuhne of Knox City, Smallwood Apartments. 

The nominees for Homecoming Queen were Kayla Martinez of Lubbock, STAR Center Student Organization; Kylie Pope of Lubbock, Wesley Foundation; Dayley Mosley of Whiteface, Baptist Student Ministry; Amelia Sandoval of Friona, Campus Ambassadors; Aurora Garcia of Plainview, Sixth Man; and Andrea Hernandez of Slaton, Smallwood Apartments.
