South Plains College will host Fest Week Dec. 5-8 in Tom T. Hall Studio
LEVELLAND – South Plains College’s Creative Arts department will host Fest Week Dec. 5-8 (Monday through Thursday) in the Tom T. Hall Production Studio. Each night of the festival will showcase different music ensembles.
The public is invited to attend, and there is no admission charge. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.. daily with the shows starting at 5 p.m..
Country Fest kicks off the event on Monday (Dec. 5). The evening will feature modern country, traditional country, swing, Texas and southern style country music. Performers will be Pickin’ on the Plains at 5 p.m..; Murky Waters at 5:45 p.m..; SPC Youth Live at 6:30 p.m..; Crossroads South at 7:15 p.m..; and Country Jukebox at 8 p.m..
Rock Fest is set for Tuesday (Dec. 6) and will feature metal, alternative rock as well as rock and roll. Performers will be The Process at 5 p.m..; Guide Dogs at 5:45 p.m..; Witches of Wallney at 6:30 p.m..; The South at 7:15 p.m..; 3 Blind Mice at 8 p.m..; The Chirps at 8:45 a.m.; Warped Tour at 9:30 p.m..; and Loop Ensemble at 10:15 p.m..
Groove Fest is Wednesday (Dec. 7), and will feature modern and traditional jazz, R&B and blues music. The show will feature Electric Jazz Ensemble at 5 p.m..; Real Book at 5:45 p.m..; Grammatical Correct at 6:30 p.m..; Vocal Ensemble at 7:15 p.m..; Acapella at 8 p.m..; Praise Ensemble at 8:45 p.m..; Algorythm & Blues at 9:30 p.m..; and Percussion Ensemble at 10:15 p.m..
Thursday Night Showcase is Thursday (Dec. 8), and will feature performances by EDM at 6 p.m..; Thursday Night Live at 7:30 p.m..; and Top Rock at 9 p.m..
