Classes begin at SPC Downtown Lubbock Center on Monday

LUBBOCK – South Plains College has opened its newest location at the SPC Lubbock Downtown Center, located at 1625 13th St. The center will offer instruction in arts and sciences courses that used to be provided at the SPC Reese Center.

According to Dane Dewbre, executive director of Marketing and Communications, “The SPC Levelland campus continues to be our flagship campus and offers the same Arts and Sciences programs and courses it has for nearly 65 years. This is simply a relocation of courses from one of our other centers.”

Dewbre said the SPC Reese Center will continue to provide seven health sciences programs. Students can still register to attend classes for the fall 2022 semester.

The former SPC Lubbock Center has been renamed the SPC Lubbock Career and Technical Center. The center is located at 3907 Ave. Q.

Classes for all SPC locations begin on Monday (Aug. 29).
