SPC to host Spring 2024 commencement ceremonies on May 10

LEVELLAND – South Plains College will host its Spring 2024 commencement ceremonies on May 10 in the Texan Dome on the Levelland campus. The first ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the second will begin at 1 p.m.

This semester, 1,178 students applied for graduation. At the Dome, 363 students will participate in the first ceremony, and 347 students will participate in the second.

SPC will recognize the 2024 recipient of the Faculty Excellence Award, who will carry the banner as the faculty enter the dome. The student banner bearers include Kerolene A. Dos Santos of Levelland and Nina Walker of Lubbock representing Arts and Sciences, John Paul King of Waco and Hannah Kimball of Sidney, Michigan representing Allied Health and Jhonathan L. Rodriguez of Post and Kalyssa Clemmons of Lubbock representing Technical Education.
