SPC to end Black History month with Spirit of MLK Awards event on Tuesday
LEVELLAND – South Plains College’s Office of Student Life will conclude Black History Month with the annual Spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. Awards Ceremony at 6:30 p.m.. on Tuesday (Feb. 27) in the Sundown Room.
The event is free and the public is invited to attend. Appetizers will be served.
The evening will feature live music and extemporaneous speeches.
The event also will include the presentation of the Spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. Awards which will honor an outstanding faculty member and a student who has helped the college and the community.
