SPC Reese Center to host ribbon cutting for ALERRT Regional Training Center June 23
REESE CENTER – South Plains College Reese Center will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on June 23 (Friday) for the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training Center in Building Three, 9730 Reese Boulevard.
SPC is partnering with Texas State University to establish the first active shooter regional training center in Texas. South Plains College will host multiple trainings each quarter to help promote and enhance training for all peace officers in the South Plains region to better protect schools and communities from active shooter threats.
An Open House and tours of the building will follow the event.
