SPC Alumni Relations Office seeks 2020 Distinguished Alumni nominations
LEVELLAND – The South Plains College Alumni Relations Office is accepting applications for the 2020 Distinguished Alumni honor. The honorees will be recognized at a Presidential Reception, the annual Employee Recognition Banquet and at the 62nd Annual Commencement Ceremonies on the Levelland campus.
“Our goal is to honor those former students who laid their foundation at SPC and continued on to build their professional careers and made an impact on their communities,” said Stephanie Smith, alumni relations coordinator at SPC. “It’s important to have our honorees with us during the commencement ceremonies because we love showing current students what’s possible after their time at South Plains College.”
Smith said nominations are open to all former students of SPC who have made noteworthy accomplishments in their professional career and in their communities. The award has been presented to students from a variety of professions including pharmacy, education, welding, philanthropy as well as medical professionals to name a few. The honor is not limited to any specific field or profession.
Nominations will be accepted through March 6, 2020.
