VOCATIONAL NURSING

South Plains College offers an accredited 12-month Vocational Nursing program that includes both classroom and clinical experiences.  The program is distinguished by highly-qualified instructors who are experienced registered nurses. Program instructors enjoy teaching and provide their students with personal attention.  This personalized education assures you an opportunity to develop the skills and behaviors required for success in vocational nursing.

The Vocational Nursing program awards a Certificate of Proficiency for successful completion of the course curriculum.  Graduates are eligible to apply to sit for the State Board of Nurse Examiners licensure examination.  The program is approved by the Texas Higher Education coordinating Board and the State Board of Nurse Examiners.

This program is offered at the SPC Levelland Campus, the SPC Reese Center, and the SPC Plainview Extension Center.
