FACULTY
Pay Grade I
Less than an Associate's Degree with sufficient competencies in the required teaching field.
Pay Grade II
Associate's Degree and sufficient competencies in the required teaching field.
Pay Grade III
Bachelor's Degree in the required teaching field. The Vice President may recommend certain individuals that have unique experience and demonstrated competency. Such exceptions must be justified on an individual basis.
Pay Grade IV
Master's Degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the required teaching field.
Pay Grade V
Master's Degree plus 30 graduate semester hours of approved courses in the required teaching field.
Pay Grade VI
Doctor's Degree in the required teaching field or related area.
Notes:
§ Assistant Instructors may be employed at less than the minimum for the pay grade.
§ Entry level to depend on appropriate instructional and professional experience.
§ Upon qualifying for higher pay grade, an adjustment equal to the difference between the minimums of pay grades will be added to the annual salary (See Faculty Handbook for timing).
§ All degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions.
