Cost of Attendance:
The budget includes estimated tuition and fees assessed a student, together with our estimate of the cost of room and board, transportation, books and supplies, miscellaneous personal expenses, and student loan fees. Upon receipt of requested documentation, budget adjustments for child care expenses are processed.

Your Resources:
The Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) as calculated by the Congressionally mandated formula known as Federal Methodology. The student and his or her family are expected to pay this amount towards the student's cost of attendance. The EFC is used to determine a student's eligibility for financial aid programs.

Documented Need:
The difference between Cost of Attendance and the family's estimated ability to pay or Estimated Family Contribution (EFC). (Cost of Attendance - Estimated Family Contribution = Documented Need)

Unmet Need:
The difference between a student's Documented Need and all aid offered for the enrollment period. (Documented Need - Aid Offered = Unmet Need)
