ALL COURSES WILL BE HELD AT SOUTH PLAINS COLLEGE LAW ENFORCEMENT ACADEMY, AND T.C.O.L.E. CREDIT WILL BE CREDITED TO STUDENTS WHO PROVIDE THEIR
T.C.O. L .E. PID #.

Law Enforcement Continuing Education Courses:

Due to legislative changes, any officer holding an Intermediate Certificate or above is exempt from taking Cultural Diversity and Special Investigative Topics. All officers are required to take “Legislative Update” every two years and complete 40 hours of continuing education every two years.

All courses will be offered free of charge unless otherwise noted in the course description.

 

*Required equipment for the Patrol Rifle School (AR-15 semi auto only / duty handgun / patrol duty belt/ tactical clothing / 600+ .223 rounds w/ at least 1 thirty round and 2 twenty round mags. / 200+ duty handgun rounds w/ at least 3 duty mags. / protective eye and ear protection / duty vest )
